The Labour Force Survey is a sample survey and estimates are subject to both sampling and non-sampling errors. See Statistics Canada's Guide to the Labour Force Survey at http://www.statcan.ca/english/freepub/71-543-GIE/71-543-GIE2006001.pdf

British Columbia's Aboriginal people are a diverse population, spread across the province, with many interests and issues. Current labour characteristics for the off-reserve population are now available for the first time ever between Census years. Sub-provincial profiles provide comparisons of on- and off-reserve populations. Articles and other resources address topical issues by BC Stats staff as well as providing simple population counts for many geographic areas. Links will take you to other useful sites for Aboriginal information.
