  86 small administrative health areas, with the exception of four with very small populations.
• Health Service Delivery Areas
  16 health service delivery. Aggregations of LHAs.
• Health Authorities
  5 large administrative health regions. Aggregations of HSDAs.
• College Regions
  15 regions, based on primary service areas of the community colleges and university-colleges and their satellite campuses. Boundary correction has affected some college regions.
• School Districts
  57 school administrative regions.
• Regional Districts
  26 administrative regions, with the exception of 2 small RDs.
• Development Regions
  8 regions, aggregations of Regional Districts.
• Georgia Basin and Rest of BC (PDF)   Georgia Basin and Component Regional Districts (PDF)
  a region with common ecological concerns, covering the lower mainland and southeastern Vancouver Island only. Sub-areas are the Regional Districts of which it is comprised.
• Fraser Basin and Rest of BC (PDF)   Fraser Basin and Subregions (PDF)
  the drainage system of the Fraser River, running from its source in the Rockies to its mouth at Vancouver. Five sub-areas are defined.
