Visitor Entries

Total travel to Canada via B.C. rose 1.0% (seasonally adjusted) in December. Arrivals from the United States were up 0.9% and travel from overseas also increased (+1.2%). There were fewer entries from Africa (-36.3%) and Asia (-1.4%), but the province welcomed more visitors from other parts of the world, including Europe (+2.3%) and Oceania (+7.1%).
