Purchase Population
Projections (P.E.O.P.L.E.)

BC STATS produces population projections for British Columbia and for many different types of regions within the province. The BC-level projection is updated every year and is available on our public web site: BC Level Population Projection . The regional projections are updated annually, in the summer of each year. They are labelled by a number to indicate the update cycle e.g. the latest regional projections (PEOPLE 32) were produced in 2007.

There is a 13 page report for each region and if ordered separately the price varies from $6.00 per region to $1.25 per region. The price varies from $12.00 to $2.50 per region for the CSV file containing the raw data in 5 year age groups (and summaries) - the formatted PDF report is included with each CSV purchase at no additional charge. The variation in price depends on how many regions are selected within each category of purchase. You can view a Sample Report for the Southern Okanagan Health Area.
