BC Stats has changed the policy on pricing of selected information products.
Starting April 1, 2008, BC Stats will provide free internet access to electronic
files (PDF format) of the regular subscription periodicals that have previously been
available through the BC Stats subscription site or web store. The periodicals affected are:
- Business Indicators
- Consumer Price Index
- Current Statistics
- Earnings and Employment Trends
- Exports
- Immigration Highlights
- Labour Force Statistics
- Migration Highlights
- Quarterly Regional Statistics
- Tourism Sector Monitor
Hard (printed) copies will continue to be priced as before. Requests for
individual printed copies continue to be subject to our minimum $25 fee.
Web store items not described above remain priced.
Former subscribers should rest assured that we will continue to publish
analytical articles that delve into the stories behind the figures.
Nothing will change except for the ease and cost of access. Registered
access to census profiles will continue, but without charge.
